Hotend d.o.o. was founded in 1988 as one of the first companies for the production and installation of awnings in the Republic of Croatia. From its first days of existence, the company is an importer of top materials produced by the world’s leading manufacturers in the field of sun protection, which it incorporates into its products, which with quality staff, modern technology and many years of experience guarantees top quality of Hotend products.

Hotend is the exclusive representative of the following companies: Corradi (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro), Sunsquare (Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro), and Modularte (Croatia).

Our history

1988.
Hotend has estabilished as a firm for fabrication and installation of awnings.
1993.
Hotend become exclusive contractor for Phillip Morris (Marlboro) for Croatia.
1998.
Hotend manufactures all types of folding and fixed awnings for the most prestigious hotels and restaurants, and other legal entities. Some of them are: Interbrew (Ožujsko, Stella Artois), Bavaria beer, Jamnica, Union Brewery, ..
2001.
In Greece, more precisely in Piraeus, Hotend installs awnings and curtains on one of the world's most famous yachts in the history of Christina O *. There is a famous saying about Christina O *: "If this yacht could talk, it would tell you the moments when the history of the modern world was created on it."
2003.
Hotend begins cooperation with Corradi srl. who invented and patented Pergotenda®. We were the first company outside of Italy on their big OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE project. The first and only Pergotenda® model was the Pergotenda® 45, whose load-bearing structure was made of laminated Nordic pine wood.
2007.
Corradi srl. opens its representative offices all over the world, and Hotend becomes the exclusive representative for the territory of the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2008.
The first Pergotenda® model made entirely of aluminum is made Pergotenda® Millenium. One of the first examples of this model was placed by Hotend on the terrace of the Boutique Hotel Bevanda in Opatija.
2009.
The first stand-alone Pergotenda® Kubo is created, and the design and installation of collapsible sails for sun protection begins.
2012.
Hotend d.o.o. was founded, as the legal successor of the Hotend trade.
2013.
- Corradi launches the world's first Bioclimatic Pergola, the Helyos model, with which they presented themselves at Design + Brands in Guangzhou, China, and won the Best Brand Award. The first Bioclimatic pergolas outside Italy are installed by Hotend d.o.o. at the Boutique Hotel Bevanda in Opatija. This happens just a few months after the first pieces of that model were installed in Italy at the Lido di Venezia for the Film Festival (Mostra Internazionale del Cinemo).
2015.
Corradi is being bought by Renson from Belgium (a world leader in the production of ventilation facades, sun protection systems and biclimatic pergolas). Hotend remains Corradi's exclusive representative for the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2018.
Hotend d.o.o. invests in the purchase of a new production line in the Astra Industrial Zone in the Municipality of Dražice, which is located in the vicinity of the city of Rijeka.
2019.
Hotend d.o.o. started operating in the new place in Dražice.
2019
The International Economic Forum "Perspectives" awards the company Hotend d.o.o. and owner Horvat Anton the prestigious award "Creators for Centuries" for the development of ideas, innovations and investments in entrepreneurship in the category of companies from 11 to 50 employees in Central and Southeast Europe.
2020.
Hotend d.o.o. becomes the exclusive representative of the Austrian company SUNSQUARE(the world's leading company in the production of folding sails, the first folding sail was patented in 1990).
